Name: | Yvaine |
---|
Yay, post-canon updating! (As of August 2007.)
Appearance:
Yvaine is a fallen star and should, logically speaking, look rather like a lifeless bit of glittering rock.
But rocks, however glittery, tend to be terribly boring and don't tend to make for very interesting stories - so Yvaine had the good luck to end her downward tumble in the land of Faerie - where the odd and magical is really more of the everyday. So Miss Yvaine tends to look a bit like a pretty young woman with unusually pale skin, near-white hair, and blue eyes. She still walks with a limp (falling to the earth at a high velocity does that to a girl) and has a tendency to glitter at the edges when pleased.
Personality:
Yvaine is still terribly stubborn and easily irritated – some things, sadly, don't change - though she is, on the whole, significantly more pleased with life in general. (It happens when your insides remain inside and you end up rather in love with the morons that kidnap you.) She's quick-witted and sarcastic and knows far more curse words than any polite lady should be allowed to.
She is, however, quite easy to get along with once you get past the prickly exterior - it's just rather persistently prickly, is all. She sings sweetly, is fiercely loyal, enjoys arguing, and is very very stupidly in love.
(Not that she enjoys admitting that last one out loud.)

Yvaine is from the novel Stardust and belongs to Neil Gaiman. She appears here solely for the purpose of role-playing in , from which no profit whatsoever is being made.
