The door closes.
Lately, it might be noted, that the closing of this particular door has meant privacy of a rather good and anticipated sort. The boy and the star are young and happy and wonderfully, blissfully new to this whole 'in love' thing. And it's strangely nice to be somewhere without the rest of the world to worry about - even for a while.
The door closes and, really, this time it's more of a slam.
"I'll only be gone for a bit," she simmers faintly - her usual glow more of a muted, displeased sizzling along her skin. "Could stay here - there's a lot you could do. A lot I could bloody do, Tristran! While you go off gallivanting in the middle of god-knows-where with men who are very likely inclined toward stabbing you!"
Yeah, this one might not be ending anytime soon.
It's a good thing she closed the door first.

"How did you -"
He starts to smile, head shaking slightly, amused.
"Yvaine, you are absolutely amazing."

"If you say so," she replies, propping her chin on his shoulder. "But, mostly, I am thinking that it was just yours in the first place."

"Thank you," he says, pulling back a bit so he can properly see the star's face.
"I really thought I'd lost it." It means a lot more to him now than it ever did - it's something to remind him of his father, and perhaps his 'past life'.

Her chin tilts regally and she shifts a bit more, closer still.
"And it did look rather fine on your lapel."

There. Quite perfect, really. Just where it belongs.
Then he takes her hands and lifting them towards his lips, places a light kiss against them both.

She frees one hand, easily clearing the hair from his eyes.
Solemnly, "Not that I have any plans of sharing, mind you."
no subject
"Well it just so happens that I don't have any plans on being shared, either."

She regards him solemnly for a moment.
"I should hate to have to kill anyone unnecessarily."
